A device for the classification and separation of particles in cereal milling process having: a connection to connect the device to a feeder section (2), ahead of a screen deck (4) of a purifier, a fluidizing bed (15) to support the particles, a pressure chamber (16) arranged under the fluidizing bed (15), a compressed gas source (18), a gas inlet port (23) in the chamber (16) for connecting the compressed gas source (18) with the chamber (16). So that in the pressure chamber (16) a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure is achieved. The fluidizing bed (15) is gas permeable so that a gas passing through the gas inlet port (23) and through the fluidizing bed (15) can accomplish a stratification of the particles, according to density.
