Novel devices transform anergy into exergy. Electrons subjected to energy removal (recovery of exergy) can be converted into positrons. Preferably, positrons can be converted into electrons, making exergy available simultaneously. Exergy is only removed to the extent, that existing imbalance is eliminated. Exergy is removed to the extent, that imbalances arise in immediately adjacent systems. Imbalances in further removed systems (again) arise. Inequilibria are formed, which, because they are of identical strength, undergo reciprocal neutralisation. They are able to compensate existing neutralisation. This allows positrons, in correspondence with electrons, not to be treated as quantum pairs, but as single particles again, in a distinct revision which enlarges the scope of quantum mechanics.
