The optical tracking and measuring device, for determining the movement paths of simultaneously tracked airborne targets via a triangulation method, uses a corresponding number of pairs of theodolites (14,16; 15,17). The tracking theodolites are each pivoted about a vertical azimuth angle and a horizontal elevation axis, with the theodolites of each pair positioned at different measuring points (12,13), the theodolites at each measuring point pivoted individually about a common azimuth axis (40).
