Arrangement for simultaneous discharge of waste water from settling tank

In a final settling tank of a domestic sewage treatment system, liquids are simultaneously passed in two directions when a maximum water level is reached. A vessel (3) overturns and a floating stopper (10) is removed from the entrance (9) of a discharge line (8). Waste water flows into the discharge line from the upper region of the tank and sludge-containing waste water passes through a siphon pipe (2) from the base into a multi-chamber pit. When the water level drops, the stopper closes the entrance to the discharge pipe and air enters the tilting vessel, ending both drainage procedures.
