A sachet comprising a stack of three polyethylene sheets (1, 2, 3). The upper surface of the intermediate sheet (2) is engaged by the upper sheet (1) which has the same outline as the straight portion of the intermediate sheet (2). The underside of the intermediate sheet (2) is partially covered by the lower sheet (3). The edges of the upper and lower sheets (1, 3) are sealed to the edge of the intermediate sheet (2) along lines (8). A storage chamber is defined between the intermediate and lower sheets (2, 3) and a metering chamber (5) is defined between the upper and intermediate sheets (1, 2). The intermediate sheet (2) is provided with an opening (6) adjacent to the transverse edge (1a) of the upper sheet (1) that is welded to the intermediate sheet (2). The opening is used to connect the storage chamber (4) with the metering chamber (5).
