WASTE-WATER TREATMENT METHOD BY STEEL MANUFACTURE SLAG

The industrial waste water generated at a cold refining company is conducted with a preliminary neutralization treatment by passing it through a steel-making slag powder particle layer, and the pH is controlled by adding a slaked lime or a caustic soda to the industrial waste water which is conducted with a preliminary neutralization treatment. Therefore, the heavy metal ions contained in waste water are removed of hydrate, or are adsorbed to a part of the slag and as a result the good quality of water is achieved.
