<p>A pneumatic radial tire having a wide main groove (21) in a tread surface (20) on each side of its equator (C), wherein a rib (22) is formed between the right and left main grooves (21). Two kinds of large and small lateral grooves (26, 27) of different widths alternately extend outward from the main grooves (21) toward the ends (25) of the contact area throughout the circumference of the tire, and sub-grooves (28) extend around the tire between the main grooves (21) and the contact ends (25).</p> |
