The present disclosure concerns the use for controlling endoparasites of 4a,5a,8a,8b-tetrahydro-6H-pyrrolo(3,4:4,5)furo[3,2-b]pyridine-6,8[7H]- dione derivatives of general formula I and their salts. R<1>-R<5> in the formula have the meanings indicated in the description. Also disclosed are novel 4a, 5a, 8a, 8b-tetrahydro-6H-pyrrolo[3,4:4,5]furo[3,2-b]pyridine-6,8[7H]-dione derivatives and methods of producing them.
