Controlling a tube drawing process using flying mandrel

Controlling tube drawing using a die and mandrel involves measuring vibrations in the machine which are compared to an optimum value calibrated as a result of the characteristics of the tube, drawing machine and mandrel. Any deviations from the optimum value are used to regulate the speed of drawing and/or degree of lubrication.
