Cytoderm attaching poly-saccharide generated by zoogloea sp. is produced as follows. (1) A microbe is shaken and cultivated at 30 deg. C for 72 hours by using peptone, glucose, sodium phosphate, ammonium nitrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, calcium chloride, sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate, potassium phosphate, tris or like. (2) Centrifuge the cultivated liquid at 3-5 degree C and 30,000-35,000xG for 10 minutes and separate upper layer liquid and precipitation.(3) Add the same amount of distilled water to microbial cell, stir strongly at 50-60 degree C for 1-3 hours and treat thermally. (4) Separate cytoderm attaching poly-saccharide by centrifuging at 35-45 degree C and 30,000-35,000*g for 8-12 minutes. (4) Add cephylpyridinium chloride(CPC) to make the final concentration 8-12% and separate acidic poly-saccharide. (5) Employ 10% sodium chloride solution and precipitate by cold acetone whose amount is twofold, dialysis, freeze and dry the precipitation. (4) The above frozen/dried is dissolved by phosphate buffer and then completely refined by gel chromatography in column which is filled with sepharose CL-4B.
