A method is proposed of converting energy. The process in a power-generating facility or engine, by which one form of energy is converted to another form of useful energy using the constraining physical action of a force or forces of the energy being converted on at least one source of oscillations and/or waves in the form of a physical object and part of or connected to the energy conversion system, is carried out in a resonance mode defined by a set of physical factors namely the location(s) or zone(s) which the force(s) of action of the energy to be converted is applied, directions, values of force and dynamic parameters of the action in the system reacting to that action, including oscillation and/or wave parameters associated with the process. The proposed device, in addition to a system for supplying the energy to be converted and a system used for converting one form of energy into another, includes a main body and an element or elements by means of which the energy conversion process is conducted in resonance mode. |
