For all operating points, the same pinking index (KI) is calculated, from which is derived the actual withdrawal index (TZ) dependent upon the operating point. The following formula illustrates the relationship between the pinking index and the withdrawal angle: TZ = (KI-OF):AF - 0.5 /* RB in which (OF) is a constant operating point-dependent offset. (AF) is a constant operating point-dependent adaption factor and (RB) is the regulating width of the pinking regulation.
