The device consists of a craft, such as one with a double hull (4), so that it has a wide base, on which a platform with short mast (6) is mounted. The floats are attached by two sets of wires or struts (3) to a cable (1) which runs underwater. The wires or struts are attached to the sides of the craft and run down and in towards the cable, forming triangles. The cable runs over pulleys, e.g. at the sides of a lake, so that the craft can be pulled to and fro while the line from the water skier is attached to the mast.
