Concrete for road surfaces and process for preparation thereof

A concrete for carriageway coverings according to the 'ZTV Beton-StB 91' regulations consists of at least 340 kg/cu.m. cement and aggregates with a particle compsn. according to DIN 1045 and at least one essential particle group of above 8 mm, the novelty being that at least one of the essential particle groups of above 8 mm consists of concrete granulate recovered from old carriageway coverings. Also claimed is a process for reusing old carriageway coverings of concrete.
