Use of at least one substance (I) which is an agonist for at least one receptor associated with a chloride channel in cutaneous tissue, (other than glycine and gamma-aminobutyric acid), to relax and/or slacken cutaneous tissue and/or for mfr. of a topical cosmetic or dermatological compsn., is new. (I) is pref. serine, taurine, beta-alanine, N-(benzyloxycarbonyl) glycine (Z-glycine), isoguvacine, isonipecotic acid, 4,5,6,7-tetrahydroisoxazolo-(5,4-c) pyridin-3(2H)-one, benzodiazepines, steroids, and barbiturates. |
