<p>Described is a force-transmission element for, in particular, a tensionally loaded object mounted to move along a longitudinal guideway, in particular a door panel. The force-transmission element is a belt comprising two parts which passes round part of the circumference of at least one power input element and at least one power take-off element, making frictionally locking contact with the power input and take-off elements. In order to ensure inexpensive manufacture and ease of installation, and in particular ease of re-tightening, the force-transmission element (4) is designed in such a way that its two ends (8, 9) are joined by a coupling device (7) to form a continuous belt whose length can be adjusted.</p> |
