Fish are placed on individual supports (17) as they pass through a washing tunnel (2) where they are cleaned inside and out. The tunnel (2) is open at either end to allow fish in (3) and out (4). The fish are washed with washing liquid from a number of nozzles (6 to 11) arranged inside the tunnel, spraying inwards. Used liquid is collected in a bath (14) beneath the tunnel and drained away (15). |
