Integrable microprocessor-dedicated DDC cell

The interface cell (12) dedicated to a microprocessor (7) has a first input-output circuit (15) which is connected to the microprocessor data bus (9). A second input-output circuit (16) is connected to a communication network operating on two protocols (DDC1, I2C). A data processing circuit (13) is connected between the two input-output circuits (15,16) and the equipment is directed by a control circuit (14) which contains a sequencer (18). The control circuit communicates with a control bus of the microprocessor (7) and a logic circuit (203) activates the sequencer (18) according to the protocol being used.
