PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of easily peeling off a release agent for obtaining an image of high density and high resolution by exposing to high density energy light to an image forming material and peeling off the release agent. SOLUTION: An image forming material 10 having an image forming layer and a release agent 2 in this order on a carrier 1 is used and exposed to an image pattern of high density energy light, thereby reducing bonding strength between the carrier 1 and peeling off the release agent to form an image. Regarding this image forming method, a release end is formed on a zone outside an image forming zone under exposure, and the image forming material 10 having an image forming layer on the carrier 1 is used for exposure to an image pattern of high density energy light. Bonding strength between the carrier 1 and the image forming layer at the exposed part is thereby reduced, and the bonding layer or adhesive layer of the release agent 2 having both layers is pasted to the image forming layer and then the release agent 2 is peeled off to form an image. In this case, a release end 6 is formed outside an image forming zone under exposure. |
