发明名称 RELEASING AGENT FOR HOT FORGING OF ALUMINUM ALLOY POWDER
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a releasing agent whose mold-releasing function is maintained over a long period without scattering the agent due to evaporation of it at the time of coating the mold with the agent by using a mesophase pitch powder having a specified softening point as the releasing agent at the time of subjecting an aluminum alloy powder to hot forging with a mold. SOLUTION: As this releasing agent, a mesophase pitch powder having a 200 to 400 deg.C or preferably, 250 to 350 deg.C softening point and an average particle size preferably within the range of 0.1 to 20μm, is used. This releasing agent can be used not only for hot forging of aluminum alloy powders, but also for hot forging of other metals or metallic powders, the forging temp. of each of which is about 200 to 600 deg.C. As the mesophase pitch powder, any mesophase pitch powder derived from petroleum, coal, synthesized material or any other source can be used. This releasing agent hardly causes water evaporation and also hardly smokes even at the time of coating a mold heated to a high temp. with the agent.
