WHEEL DECOMPRESSION JUDGING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the decompression of the follower wheels and driving wheels certainly despite eventual slipping condition of the driving wheel(s). SOLUTION: A driving wheel slip ratio calculating means M1 calculates the slip ratiosλL andλR of the driving wheels, while a torque calculating means M2 calculates the torque TQDW of the driving wheel. A slip ratio presuming means M4 presumes the change characteristics ofλL andλR for changing TQDW using the minimum square method. A revolving speed ratio calculating means M5 calculates the rovolving speed ratios CVWL and CVWR of the follower wheels and driving wheels while the latter are not in slippage in the form of intercepts of the driving wheel slip ratiosλL andλR under the condition that the driving wheel torque is zero in the graph showing the change characteristics. A wheel decompression judging means M6 compares the speed ratios CVWL and CVWR with their reference values and judges decompression from the diametric difference of the follower wheels and driving wheels.
