<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a motor compact by providing movable parts of light weight, speedily move a carrier by reducing or eliminating wiring in a carrier, and reduce its access time. SOLUTION: In a carrying method to charge/discharge a target article to/ from a rack 5 to contain a number of articles arranged on a plane, a carrier 62 is held close to an intersection of a pair of movable bars 58, 60 movable parallel to the containing plane and in crossing directions to each other to be guided by both movable bars 58, 60 to be movable in parallel directions to the movable bars 58, 60, and moving quantity of the movable bars 58, 60 is monitored to move the carrier 62 to a target position, while a pickup means to charge/discharge the article to/from the carrier 62 is provided, where control signals of the pickup means are transmitted/received by serial communication.</p> |
