PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a channel automatically on the occurrence of a communication error and to set a time till a line is interrupted in the radio communication equipment having plural available channels. SOLUTION: A line hit time is decided in advance and a retrial time processing of recovery from a communication error at a specific frequency within the hit range is calculated by a retrial time calculation means 3a. When any communication error is in existence, a communication error processing means 3b conducts restoration processing from the communication error within the range of the retrial time. When the retrial time elapses, a channel changeover means 3c switches the channel within a range of aline hit time. Thus, even when the communication error is in existence in a specific channel, the channel is automatically switched and the communication line is connected.
