<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a steering wheel, which is structured so that a pad is formed in a single piece with enclosures to enclose the cores of a ring part and spoke parts, easily and certainly on a steering shaft. SOLUTION: The body 1 of a steering wheel includes enclosures 7a, 7b to enclose the core 5 of a ring part and the core 6 of each spoke part and a pad 3 which is formed in a single piece with the enclosures. At the tip of a steering shaft 30, a boss 17 is fixed, which is provided with serration 20 to mesh with serration 32 on the steering shaft 30. A guide rail 26 is furnished on the undersurface of a coupling plate 10 for coupling the cores 6 of the spoke parts, and mating therewith a part to be penetrated 22 is provided in the upper part of the boss 17. To install a steering wheel W, the guide rail 26 is fitted in the part 22 in the condition that the boss 17 is fixed to the shaft 30, and they are fastened together by bolt.</p> |
