The device is provided with transport members on which trays can be moved between working stations, where personnel place certain meal tray components on the tray. The transport member comprises a circular table (1), which is capable of rotating about a vertical axis (2), whereby the trays can be placed near the edge of the table. The rotatable table (1) can be driven intermittently, so that a tray placed on the table (1) will be stationary at a working station for a predetermined period of time. The drive unit comprises control member (17) for adjusting the time during which a tray is stationary at a working station. |
