Apparatus for manufacturing bricks

An apparatus for forming green bricks from clay for the brick industry comprises means for covering the green bricks with sand. These means are formed by a succession of conveyor belts placed in stepwise manner. When the green brick is transferred from one to the following conveyor belt the flat surfaces are covered with sand. According to the invention an air flow is generated at the transition from one to a following conveyor belt in order to cover the head ends with sand. <IMAGE>
