PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage between pointed electrodes and leakage from the pointed electrode to a shielding member through the surface of an insulating base plate by making the insulating base plate a specified high resistance. SOLUTION: A pointed electrode plate 10 is constituted of a common electrode 11, plural pointed electrodes 12 being a discharging part disposed at a fixed pitch Dp(mm) at a fixed distance apart from the common electrode 11, and a resistor 15 for electrically connecting the electrode 12 and the common electrode 11. Then, the electrode plate 10 is provided on the insulating base plate 20, for example, ceramic, whereby a corona discharging electrode 1 is constituted. In such a case, the electrode 12 and the common electrode 11 are provided on the base plate 20 in a state that the tip part 13 of the electrode 12 is not projected from the surface of the base plate 20. An insulating member used for a conventional and known printed circuit board may be as the insulating member used for the base plate 20, and the volume resistivity thereof is set to >10<9>Ω.cm.
