PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component which has excellent optical performance and can be constituted strongly at low cost. SOLUTION: The tip part 6 of the insert part of an endoscope is provided with an observation optical system 9 together with a light guide 7 and a lighting lens 8, and they are held and fixed in a tip part main body 10. The observation optical system 9 has the optical component 16 constituted by uniting a top lens 14 at the tip and a support part 15 supporting it and an objective 17 held by a support part 15 at the base end of the tip lens 14. The tip lens 14 is formed of optically transparent methacrylic resin (PMMA) and the support part 15 is formed of optically opaque, e.g. black methacrylic resin (PMMA) to constitute the optical component 16; and those members are formed in one body by dichroic injection molding and their abutting parts are joined together by being fused in a mold. |
