PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for preventing the increase of a cost due to the installation of a hot air discharging means and an ozone removing means and also preventing the increase of a noise produced when the device is operated without reducing a heat discharging efficiency. SOLUTION: The device is provided with ozone generating means such as a photoreceptor 2 and an electrostatic charger 3, etc., and a heat generating means such as a fixing unit 4, etc., and a means required to be cooled such as a developing unit 4 etc., in the device body, and an ozone generating area 10 where the ozone generating means is installed and a heat generating area 11 where the heat generating means is installed is partitioned by a partitioning member 12 so as to mutually shut off the atmosphere of respective areas, and in the ozone generating area 10, the ozone removing means 15 and air discharging means 13 and 14 are installed, and in the heat generating means, the air discharging means 13 and 14 are separately installed. |
