PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a regulator circuit of a magnetic bearing so as to reduce manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Regarding a magnetic bearing for journalling a rotor 1 provided with a DC motor, components of the motor are used to obtain the deflection of the rotor 1 from its neutral position. One or plural additional coil assemblies 4, 4' are used, and the individual parts 4D, 4V or 4'd, 4V' of the additional coil assemblies are made cooperate with each other according to this invention to obtain the stabilizing function of the magnetic bearing. An expensive regulator circuit is thereby dispensed with, and this magnetic bearing can be used both as a magnetic axial bearing device and a magnetic radial bearing device. |
