PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode for which active material sheet can be manufactured with high efficiency by paste-rolling by biaxial rollers in a plurality of stages. SOLUTION: A hydrogen storage alloy powder is mixed with water and either a thickener or a binder made of an organic polymer material to give a paste 10. The paste 10 is held by paste-rolling auxiliary sheets 50, the distance between the paste-rolling auxiliary sheets 50 is gradually narrowed by biaxial rollers 3, whose distance is gradually reduced, in a plurality of stages to roll the paste 10 and continuously form an active material sheet 11 with a constant thickness, and the resultant active material sheet 11 is parted from the paste- rolling auxiliary sheet 50. |
