PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the video and audio system in which various information including audio, video and characters are reproduced/displayed irrespective of the kinds of media that record the information and the information is properly linked. SOLUTION: A body 10 has a monitor 11 to display video information. Audio information is inputted by a cassette tape drive 12 or a CD drive 13 or an MD drive 14.
