摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely correct polygon unevenness resulting from a polygon mirror by detecting surface information on the polygon mirror and correcting image data according to correction data from a sensitivity unevenness correction data shifting means. SOLUTION: A surface information detecting means 20 which detects the surface information on the polygon mirror is provided and when a clinical image data are corrected, the sensitivity unevenness correction data shifting means 23 takes correction data corresponding to a detected surface out of a correction data and surface information storage means 22 with the output of the surface information detecting means 20 and corrects the clinical image data with the correction data. Thus, the surface information detecting means 20 analyzes the clinical image data read by an image read means 100 to detect polygon mirror surface information. Consequently, the clinical image data is corrected by using correction data corresponding to a polygon mirror surface to precisely correct the polygon unevenness resulting from the polygon mirror.
