PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of minimizing the increase of driving torque and reducing a sleeve ghost by the use of a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the image forming device provided with at least a photoreceptive drum (image carrier) 2 carrying an electrostatic latent image and a developing device 17 constituted to include a developing sleeve (developer carrier) 6 carrying toner (developer) 8 and an elastic rubber blade (layer thickness regulating member) 5 for regulating the layer thickness of the toner 8, an electrode plate 31 is provided in a part facing the developing sleeve 6 between a position where the photoreceptive drum 2 faces the developing sleeve 6 and the part where the elastic rubber blade 5 is abutted against the developing sleeve 6, in the rotational direction of the sleeve 6, to form a vibrating electric field between the electrode plate 31 and the sleeve 6. Thus, after a developing process is completed, the vibrating electric field formed between the electrode plate 31 and the sleeve 6 is exerted on a toner layer, to rearrange the toner 8, so that friction in a nondeveloping part and a developing part can be suppressed lower than that in a conventional manner. |
