PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the work for supplying water to adjacent water trough and uniformize the amount of spraying water in the case of culturing a plant by successively placing vessels on a water trough in a state suspending a water- absorbing ribbon from the inside of the vessel downward into the trough. SOLUTION: This plant cultivation system is composed of a plurality of parallelly and horizontally placed water-feeding troughs 4a, 4b and a number of culture vessels 9 placed on the troughs. The troughs are interconnected through a connection means 5. Each culture vessel is provided with a water- absorbing ribbon extending from the inside of the vessel and suspended downward and at least a part of the ribbon is immersed in the water in the water- feeding trough. Water is automatically and uniformly supplied to all troughs simply by supplying water to one trough to improve the yield of flowers and vegetables, improve the efficiency of work and remarkably reduce the labor. |
