PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clad plate having two or three layers structured with an aluminum alloy, which has a high tensile strength and shear strength in the thickness direction at the weld zone and which contains 3-5wt.% of magnesium, and with a stainless steel as well as the manufacture by a hot rolling method. SOLUTION: The clad plate, in which one joined surface is an aluminum alloy containing 3-5wt.% Mg and in which the other joined surface is a stainless steel, is provided with a 0.07-0.33mm thick intermediate layer formed with an aluminum alloy containing 0.8-1.3wt.% Mg between the aluminum alloy and the stainless steel; also provided is its manufacture by a hot rolling method. |
