PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinked polyolefin pipe for drinking water, especially, a pipe constituted so as to prevent drinking water or hot water flowing through the pipe from becoming bad-smelling. SOLUTION: A polyolefin compsn. containing a peroxide type crosslinking agent is extruded to be molded into a tubular form and thus extrusion molded tube is irradiated with ultraviolet rays or electron beam to be crosslinked. Since a crosslinking agent causing an offensive smell is not used at all, an excellent crosslinked polyolefin pipe for drinking water generating no offensive smell with the elapse of time is obtained. |
