PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for producing a vinegared rice rolled in laver capable of affording the vinegared rice rolled in laver, having a desired thickness and good to look at without causing any difference in quality and requiring a high level of technique and experience. SOLUTION: This jig 10 for producing vinegared rice rolled in laver comprises a nearly rectangular frame unit 12 and plural protruding parts 14 formed under the frame unit 12. When the frame unit 12 is placed on the laver 28 laid on a rolling mat 22 in producing the vinegared rice rolled in laver, the protruding parts 14 are thrusted into the laver 28 and further into the adjacent spaces between slender rods 24 constituting the rolling mat 22 to locate the laver 28. White rice for the SUSHI is served in the frame unit 12 and an ingredient is placed thereon. The frame unit 12 is then removed to roll the rolling mat 22 to produce the vinegared rice rolled in the laver. |
