PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any deposit from being stuck to a throttle valve or the like, in this intake system of an engine. SOLUTION: In an intake system for an engine, which is equipped with a throttle valve 3 being rotatably installed in an intake air passage 2 and adjusting an air quantity to be inhaled in the engine, and an auxilairy air passage 4 inducing auxiliary air into the intake air passage more downstream than the throttle valve 3, it is also equipped with an air curtain nozzle 6 spraying the auxiliary air to be induced to the intake air passage 2 by way of the auxilairy air passage 4 toward a backside of the throttle valve 3. |
