GREEN POWER APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD

A green power apparatus and control method relates a green power system for reducing a power-consumption of the household appliances, and minimizes a power-consumption in a power-off mode or a standby mode of the household appliances. The green power apparatus includes: a power unit(21); a first constant-voltage circuit(22) for providing a constant voltage by regulating an output DC voltage of the power unit(21); a second constant voltage circuit(23) for providing a voltage processing audio and video signals by regulating an output DC voltage of the power unit(21); a third constant voltage circuit(28) for providing a constant voltage in order to receive a preengagement broadcasting signal by regulating an output DC voltage of the power unit(21); a first switch(27) for switching an operation of the second constant-voltage circuit(22); a second switch(31) for switching an operation of the third constant-voltage circuit(28); and a microcomputer(32) for receiving a constant voltage by the first constant-voltage circuit(22), and controlling the first and second switches(27,31).
