PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving device provided with a balancing weight capable of distributing a load as uniformly as possible on the whole surface of each of piezoelectric ceramic plates of the device. SOLUTION: In this structure, the driving device 2 has a number of piezoelectric ceramic plates 7, between every adjacent two of which one of electrically conductive metal plates 8 connected to an AC power source is interposed and also, is fixed to a ultrasonic wave sealing device through the ceramic plates 7 and metal plates 8. The ceramic plates 7 and metal plates 8 are held integrally with a balancing weight 9 by a clamp screw 10 for generating a clamping force to be applied to the driving device 2. The balancing weight 9 has an inner diameter and an outer diameter and the inner diameter side of the balancing weight 9 is provided with a groove 12 in order to obtain a uniform load on the ceramic plates 7. |
