PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter in which the charging time of a capaci tor load can be shortened and in which a fluctuation in the voltage of a battery power supply is small. SOLUTION: A DC-DC converter is constituted in such a way that two output coils 53a, 53b are connected in series by an SCR 72 installed across respective coils of the output coils 53a, 53b, that a voltage detection coil part 70 is formed at the output coil 53a out of the respective output coils 53a, 53b and that the SCR 72 is set to continuity by a detection voltage generated at the voltage detection coil part 70. In addition, the DC-DC converter is constituted in such a way that the output coil 53b is connected to the positive pole side of a main capacitor 67 via a diode 100, that respective output voltages of the output coils 53a, 53b are applied to the main capacitor 67 in parallel while the SCR 72 is set to noncontinuity, that the output voltages of the output coils 53a, 53b are added so as to be applied to the main capacitor 67 after the SCR 72 has been set to continuity and that the main capacitor 67 is charged. |
