PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fermentation material capable of reutilizing a waste material as a raw material, easy in handleability and having a stable fermentation performance. SOLUTION: This fermentation material 26 contains microorganisms and a carrier for holding the microorganisms, and can give the fermentation action of the microorganisms to organic materials added to the fermentation material. Therein, coffee grounds 21 are used as at least a part of the carrier. A waste mushroom culture medium containing the coffee grounds may also be used as the carrier. |
