A circuit for selecting a sound source of each channel is disclosed. The circuit comprises a CPU(40), responsive to an external key input signal, for controlling a sound source generation unit(10), a sound source selecting unit(20), and a channel selecting unit(30); the sound source generation unit(10), responsive to a control signal from the CPU(40), for driving each of sound sources(1-N) to provide melodies; a sound source selecting unit(20), responsive to the control signal from the CPU(40), for selecting one of melodies with a number of selecting circuit(C1-CN); and a channel selecting unit(30), responsive to the control signal from the CPU(40), for switching each of switches(SW1-SWN) to select a sound output channel.
