<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any large-size tendency due to the set up of an oil absorbent member and this element from becoming a primary factor of power loss. SOLUTION: A lip seal 12 is interposed between a boss part 7 installed in a front housing and a driving shaft 6, sealing up a crankcase 5. Felt 42 is set up in an inner circumferential part of second lip fittings 16 constituting this lip seal 12, and since both front and rear ends of these second lip fittings 16 are bent inward each, it is supported in the shape of being embraced. This felt 42 should be constituted so as not to come into contact with the driving shaft 6 in a state of being embraced by the second lip fittings 16.</p> |
