PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the scattering of toner and the surface staining of an image caused by the fact that the supplied toner is scattered/suspended and then, directly reaches a developing sleeve and a developer therearound, in a low-electrified or unelectrified state. SOLUTION: The developing sleeve 4 is provided along a photoreceptor 2 and first and second developer stirring/carrying members 6 and 8 are arranged side by side along the developing sleeve 4. A partition member 10 is provided between the first and second developer stirring/carrying members 6 and 8 and a first communicative path 12 for transferring the developer carried from the inner side by the first developer stirring/carrying member 6, to the second developer stirring/carrying member 8 is provided on the end part side on the front side of a device of the partition member 10. Further, a toner supplying part 22 is formed in the upper end part on the front side of the second developer stirring/carrying member 8. In the upper part of the first communicative path 12, a scattering preventing member 40 for preventing the toner supplied from the toner supplying part 22 from being scattered/suspended and then, directly reaching the side of the developing sleeve 4 is hung like a curtain in such a manner that only the top end part is fixed on a developing casing. |
