<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize lumber for a music instrument, wooden parts for the music instrument and the wooden music instrument in which dimensional stability is excellent by impregnating lumber with azelaic acid and its compound. SOLUTION: Raw lumber is impregnated with azelaic acid and its compound and worked to produce lumber for a musical instrument. The lumber for the musical instrument is produced by laminating and accumulating lumber processed by azelaic acid or lumber is laminated and accumulated and thereafter azelaic acid processing is applied thereto to produce lumber for the musical instrument. Therein, when the molecule of azelaic acid enters lumber, the interval between celluloses of lumber becomes a swelling state. Even when the molecule of water enters lumber, the volume of lumber is changed no more. Therefore, swelling and shrinkage due to temperature change of lumber are small and lumber has high dimensional stability. Working precision and durability are improved and a change with the lapse of time, outward appearance and quality are prevented from being reduced.</p> |
