A stabilization device for a wood wall panel has sufficient strength and ductility to co-operate with a wall panel to maximize the full resilient properties of wood in the wall panel. The device has a triangular configuration with two arms subtending an angle of 90.degree., each of the arms having a length of at least 10" (25cm) with a width sufficient for at least two connecting means spaced apart across the width at a plurality of positions along the length of each of the arms, and including a triangular web extending between one side of the arms with connecting apertures therein.
