The microwave oven having a tableware drying function, in which a wind guide plate(19), a spill fan(260 rotated by a fan motor(24), a heater hot wire(28), and a temperature sensor(48) for a cooking chamber, comprises: a tableware drying device(30) received in the cooking chamber; a drying mode setting part(42) installed on a control panel for setting a tableware drying mode; a drying time setting part(44) installed on the control panel for setting a tableware drying time; a drying temperature setting part(46) installed on the control panel for setting a tableware drying temperature; and a microcomputer(50) for controlling the heater hot wire(28) and the fan motor(24), in response to the input signals from the drying mode setting part(42), the drying time setting part(44), the drying temperature setting part(46) and the temperature sensor(48).
