PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to continuously mold an excellent molding by gradually compressing polyolefin resin foamed particles raised to a specific internal pressure in a foam particle supply area, then sandwiching it between upper and lower belts fed endlessly, steam-heating it while conveying the molding area, and fusion bonding the particles. SOLUTION: The polyolefin resin foamed particles 11 supplied from a hopper 1 and raised at the particle internal pressure to 1.3 to 3.0atom are gradually compressed in a foamed particle supply area A so constituted at an oblique angle that the interval between an upper side belt 3 and a lower side belt 5 is gradually narrowed toward the molding area B. Thereafter, the particles 1 compressed at the area A are sandwiched between thickness specifying plates 7 and 8 so constituted as to hold a predetermined interval between the belts 3 and 5, fed and conveyed to the area B sandwiched between the plates 7 and 8, heated by heating steam supplied by a steam supply unit 9, fusion-bonded and then cooled by a cooling means 10. |
